Re: Storage Bench at Aldi

[ Edited ]

@Lipstickdiva   Take a look at Big Lots for the topper.  My friend just bought a king size one for $119 and said she is in love with it.  They probably have other sizes, too.

Hers is a Serta gel foam 3" topper.  She also told me it does make her too warm while sleeping.

I purchased 6 of them from Aldi's. I have Valeries cube ones and these are definately the same thing and I stored my craft yarn and winter throws in them really organized and loving life no s/h either

Thanks for the review.  I didn't get over there last night because something came up.  Now I won't be able to get there until tomorrow or Sunday.  Hopefully they will still have them.

The storage bench at Aldi's sounds like a good deal! If I can get motivated, I might just go to Aldi's tomorrow to check it out.

Our Aldi's is way on the north side of town & I have never seen a thing in their ads that sounded like it would be worth the drive before.

Oh my goodness, I didn't get my weekly ads until late last night and hadn't bothered to look through them yet . . . so many great things for the bedroom (that headboard is a steal!) . . . thanks everybody!

Do you mean Aldi, the grocery store? Do all Aldis have them? In my town it started out that no one admitted to shopping there! Now, it's such a great place, no one hides it any more!

Big disappointment for me.  I hit our local Aldi Saturday and they didn't have them.  All they had left were the storage units with the individual cubes. I asked an SA and she told me they came in and walked me over to where she said they were then said they must have sold out.  I suspect they never got them because there was no empty shelf space for them to be and there wasn't even a tag on a shelf for them either.

They also didn't have the headboards so I couldn't even look at those nor did they have the sheets.  The SA told me they get one shipment in of things and that's it so if I missed them, I wouldn't have another chance.  But I know that's not always the case.  The sherpa throws that were advertised this week are a repeat. They had them last year because I bought 1 of them.  I love it.  They have also had those storage bins before because I bought 2 of those as well.  Hopefully they'll get more of the benches.

Sorry @Imadickens I just saw this now and yes I do mean that Aldi's!  They have great things (both edible and not intended to be edible) and I love their quality.  I buy their footstuffs all the time but can also more than vouch for their electronics and weekly specials.

You made me laugh about not wanting to admit you even knew where an Aldi was . . . back in the day (before electronic scanners) the checkers would have to memorize the prices but to be honest it never slowed down the check out line but I do remember the days when no one wanted to own shopping there . . .
