I haven't seen this before in kitchen design.

What do you think of the idea of a counter height stool for two or counter height bench?

I'd sit in the middle and not allow anyone else on it.  It's a personal space thing.

looks nice but when you need to clean the floor,not so much,  they look heavy

Benches are okay until someone has to get up that's sitting in the middle.

@lolakimono, One person on bench. Need room to relax and enjoy. LOL  I could live with  these benches. Our center island is to wide. Takes to much space.  Print on wall? Not so sure. This is a great idea!  I like it for safety reasons.  Especially if you have children.  I have never thought those  stools to be safe for children.

I don't care for it.  Not enough personal space.  And that kitchen looks horrible.

I like it.  2 people to a bench would be perfect.  An alternative to stools.
