Make your house standout with an updated staircase. Add a creative quote, paint or carpet runner. What would you write on your stairs?

How unique and creative.  Most of them I liked to look at and although beautiful, could  not live with.   If  they were in the proper setting, only a few I think I could live with.  Did not like the license plates or the one with the blues background (might of been shells along the sides of the steps or the cantalevered wood steps or the piano keys.  The others I liked but as I said in the right setting and location.  Southwest for some, bed and breakfast lodging for some, older Victorian home, etc.

@lolakimono  Very interesting and creative!  I really liked some of them, and being a lover of color and art, I would like it in my home (except my stairs are open and carpeted).  I like seeing it on the sides, but never would I want a design on the top of the step.  I can't imagine walking down steps with designs on them........an accident waiting to happen!
