A very excellent staircase for a CAT. Not only do they nearly always land on their feet if they fall, but they also have 9 lives.

Is this in the United States?  I wouldn't think they would meet building codes anywhere in the U.S.

The whole scene color-wise really appeals to my eye.

The staircase is a (you are right) fatality waiting to happen, so I’d add some rails!

i can't stand to even look at that!  an accident in the making, as has been said already!

I love the look but would be afraid to walk on them.  And I think most building codes require handrails on stairs, so I wonder how these folks get away without them.

I’d like it better if the stairs had rails. I guess the bedroom is upstairs?
