It makes good use of a wall that usually has pictures or is blank.

I don't care for it, but it's probably a good idea if I had a ton of books and limited storage.

As a book lover I like the idea of the shelves.  However, it is messy and needs to be organized and the books placed neatly on the shelves.  I would also add some decor, not a lot, just a few things here and there.

It looks as if most of these books are actually read, and not just show pieces. I like it.

There are some positives to the concept. This execution is messy. With that many books, I'd prefer them not quite so out in the open.

I like the concept, but I'd probably fall down the stairs a few times as I'd get distracted by the book covers or probably fall trying to reach for one on the top shelves.

OH, I LOVE IT!

@lolakimono , that's a no for me.  Too cluttered looking although I do love me some books!  LM

Not for me..it's messy and cluttered looking.

I am not big on displaying numerous books other than in a dedicated room/Library..neatly.

It's a nice idea but I also don't care for the cluttered look.  There would need to be doors over part/all of the bookcase for me to really like it.
