Re: Speaking of Neutral Rooms...

@Jersey Born Pretty room.

  I do agree with @Oznell in that the room, while attractive, is a little too mono-textured and toned for me. I love neutral rooms but for me to love it I need a mixture of textures and a wider range of neutral tones with maybe a mixture of some other soft colors...greens/aquas.

Re: Speaking of Neutral Rooms...

Although, not a fan of neutrals, I feel the painting which is the main focal point out of scale with the room or "nook" as the case may be since we can't see the rest of the room.

I find the room so neutral it is "cold".

Re: Speaking of Neutral Rooms...

With the exception of the painting, I do not care for the look of this room.  The furnishings aren't my taste, it is all too blah.  However, it is all based on individual taste in design and decor and I  like seeing it all.

I like the colors but I don't find the couch to look very comfortable.

Re: Speaking of Neutral Rooms...

I find the room to be a very calming space...love the painting...but would like it far more with a shot of color...nothing bold or competing with the neutrals....but something maybe watercolors like seafoam or seaglass.

Too many shades of brown for me. I prefer more color. I don't think sofas that sit low and have short backs and loose pillows are very comfortable.
