He appears to be a very talented young man. I would love to see his take on all the various types of decorating that there are out there. I mean there's the Valerie decorations, but other than hers, I don't recall any others. But, I love log cabin, or rustic, or shabby chic, or cottage white, or English garden type of things. There's a whole world  out there they could touch on to bring to their audiances. Maybe fill those in vs. all the clothes. (No offense to those ladies). Just sticking to the topic here.

I have seen this suggestion before about QVC having shows.  QVC is retail company.

QVC doesn't have shows.  Their decorating and home items are usually done by vendors such as Valerie Parr Hill.  A imagine that Alberti could co- host with her, but since Valerie has her own crew for dressing up the TV set, what would Alberti do?

Do you, want QVC to do shows like HGTV?  He does have talent in this area, but I am confused to how QVC can take advantage of his skills.

David V has shows (In the Kitchen with David), Jill has shows (You're Home with Jill), Shawn has shows (don't watch her, but I think it is The Find with Shawn Killinger).

A number of hosts have their own shows. Yes, they sell products. But they often have a lot of control over what is shown, they work with the various vendors and develop products or lines for Q and their shows. They go to the trade shows and along with the buyers, help to choose what is brought to the company. And with the home decor shows, they often are the ones leading the set up of the sets prior to the show.

Both David and Jill have expressed just that many times on air during their shows.

Alberti would start out mixing and presenting what Q has, but would advance very quickly and easily to working with vendors and manufacturers to bring in things and in, combinations he wanted, to create a style and a look. Lisa Roberston was doing this in fashion, and had embarked on this in home decor (in conjunction with VPH) before she left.

I agree. Nothing against the fashion/beauty/handbags/shoes gals, but Q has two channels. When one is running one type of programming, the other should have on the 'opposite'. It only makes sense to attract a wider audience. I'd be good with them making one channel for all the above mentioned things, and the other for home decor, cleaning, gardening, etc.

Many Hosts have their own shows. Mominohio listed some. I can't even remember all of them. Shoe shopping with Jane. Lisa did so many at Christmas. She showed how to decorate tables, mantles, staircases, etc. Shawn also has a few shows. Of course they are all QVC products and they are called shows with ideas how to use the products. Alberti would be great.

Maybe he is just not a popular host with certain items and/or shows that are most popular.  There were comments from some posters a while back when he first started that they didn't feel comfortable having him host beauty and clothing shows.

If you think about it, there aren't really many shows where he could demonstrate his decorating talent.

Yes but there were many more that thought he did a great job and wanted to see more of him on these shows, at least beauty shows.
