Re: Spanish Home Entrance, High Ceilings

I love it.  I reminds me of Santa Fe, NM.  The stairs are gorgeous.  Everything is beautiful, I would change nothing.  I want it!!!!!

Re: Spanish Home Entrance, High Ceilings

Overall, the Spanish/SW aesthetic does nothing for me, so despite some beautiful elements, I don't like this space. The staircase, doors, rug and floor tile are lovely, I don't like the colored tiles going up the steps nor do I like those huge trusses at ceiling level.

Re: Spanish Home Entrance, High Ceilings

When I was a teenager in the 60's, Spanish decorating was the style. Red shag carpets, very dark furniture, wrought iron and I loved every bit of it. Had my room decorated in that style. Kinda would like to see it come back in some form.Sort of masculine, but I never was a fan of lace and foo foo and fluff, so it suited me.
