I leave my Energizer solar lights out all year...for 3 years now. They are in snow every year, one time 2 feet, and are still working great.

With most any brand of solar light they will still work in the wintertime but may not stay lit all the way through the night but only part of it b/c of the limited daytime sunlight required to recharge the batteries is not enough to make them last that long.

Depends on the amount of sun they get.  They won't be as bright after a rainy or cloudy day.  Not very much after several cloudy days in a row.

Usually, they put out enough to light up the area immediately around them.  It depends on how close to each other they are placed.  Mine are scattered around the yard.  I can see to walk around the house at night.  They are not as bright as electric lights.

For more light, it's best to space them close together similar to this.

I don't remember how many lumens mine are, but I think the newest version with 20 lumens would be brighter.

I'm very pleased with mine.

Mine are about 6-7 years old and have been outside 365 days per year since I received them. They are as bright as when they were new (especially in the spring and summer when the sun is bright and daylight hours are longer). During the fall and winter they are bright, but don't last as many hours due to less hours of full sun (but who cares?). I'm never wandering around in the yard in the middle of the night during the cold winter months of Nebraska!

They light up my back yard and a small part of the commons area. I'm happy with that coverage. Haven't had anyone creep in that doesn't belong! Yet, friends and neighbors enjoy the light when sitting on my back patios. Great purchase . . . and these are become better and better over the years!!

Energizer Solar Path Lights are very well made. They have glass lenses and can withstand years of being out in all types of weather including the snow, In the winter they are not as birght as long but are still visable. We have 2 sets of 10 that have been around our house for years now LOVE THEM.
