Re: 'Soft' Blue and White Dining Room...

@stevieb  Blue is my color, but I would make a few changes.  The ceilings are a little low, which is something that cannot be changed.  The chairs and chandelier are too large.   I do like how much light comes into the room, and the floors and white slipcovers add to that.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

The covered chairs are done in too stark of a white--almost an optic white whereas the table is a little bit creamier white and the side chairs are an even more ivory white than the table itself.

So three shade of white at the table alone.  And not all whites *match*.

The arm chairs seem *forced* to be at the table.  They don't belong.

I like the wall paper.

I hate the two pictures.

Lots of options to use chinoiserie!

And there's nothing 'soft' about the navy blue cushions.  Again, lots of options to use chinoiserie!

I love shades of white together.  That's probably one of the only features of the room I do like.

While it appears to be a bright room which is nice, the rest of it isn't for me.  It doesn't look like a room I would feel comfortable in and therefore there isn't any feeling for it !

No to the white dining room furniture and maybe I’ll like it. 🤔
