The way they are pushing Christmas stuff more and more and earlier and earlier, perhaps they should just start a new series of shows called "Spring into Fall", and have Autumn in April. Maybe then I could at least get a shot at getting an item.
I missed YHJ yesterday and when I watched it back this morning and went to place an order, the pumpkins I wanted were already on waitlist. They NEVER seem to have enough autumn stuff in stock and they sure can't get it back from now til Harvest.
So who is in for Autum in April????![]()

I hear you!! I'm so old I remember when Christmas did not start anywhere until after Thanksgiving!

I think it is because Christmas is a big money maker, not only for decor, but food and gifts! I am not a CIJ person, especially not in 100 degree heat!!! I enjoy Fall decor for October & November!

@Hooty Hi Hooty: As much as I love Christmas, and CIJ, I also love Fall and I agree that we should now start having Fall in April..... I'm sorry you weren't able to get your pumpkins but there seemed to be many things during CIJ that sold out only to be available again in the few days following. Keep checking....I think people get caught up in the show and start ordering then they come to the senses and revamp the orders. You may get lucky. I hope you get the ones you wanted.

I think QVC only has 2 seasons--summer & winter--for everything. Get your Christmas decorations & wool sweaters in July. Then get your plants & gauze shirts in January. LOL

I don't think there's much more than usual and it's been in July for many years. Even the complaints are pretty much the same ---while those who do lots of their shopping early on just go right ahead and encourage them to do more and do more.
Buy a boat and avoid TV in July next year???

I really think it would be good if companies would start making fall items available earlier in the year since many people decorate in August or early September. It's getting late to order fall decor now because most of us already know what we're going to use for our decorating. I guess Christmas is more profitable.

Fall is my favorite season, but I start decorating the week after Labor Day. I was just at Hobby Lobby last night and I enjoyed looking at all the fall and yes, even Christmas. I like getting new ideas and having time to work on any crafty things I want to make for the Holidays at my leisure.

My guess is that not as many people decorate for Fall...therefore not many sales for those type items....
Just about everyone decorates for Christmas...in some way .....

I don't know if I would go that far to have Autumn in April, but yes I would definitely love to see more Fall/Autumn/Harvest Shows......These days the only fall things QVC likes to present are fall clothes which they start pushing now at the end of May!!!!
Oh and another thing---QVC needs to put fall decor shows in PRIME TIME so people that work can watch in real time....even if you record the shows, like the OP said, they sell out of items quickly so recording doesn't work!!!.
