@lolakimono    I really like this.   Especially love the ginger jars.  Blue walls, soft white trim are the dominant colors in my living room, along with a solid grey couch and a touch of soft pink.

Your living room sounds really pretty.  I like that you have a touch of soft pink.  I'll bet it's lovely.

Glad you mentioned the ginger jars.  That was what I wanted to say in my post when I said that I loved everything in the picture, but I couldn't think of what those jars were called!

@lolakimono   this appeals to me. I love the ginger jars and the cabinet. The only thing I might change would be combining the art so that instead of the 12 small frames, I would try 6 medium ones, or three large ones.

I think it's all fantastic.  I would love to live there.  The ginger jars go perfectly with the framed agates and the agates are framed beautifully.  It's all very tastefully done.

@Citrine1  I've always loved blue and white ginger jars and ginger jar lamps, though at the moment don't have any.   Have seen some exquisite examples in a Williams Sonoma catalogue last year and resisted the temptation to purchase.

@Oznell  You are right--tranquil is key for me.  There is so much craziness in the world that I want a serene environment, especially in retirement.  Don't miss the working world at all.

LOVE IT....my only complaint would be that the inside of the book case looks cluttered and I would accessorize differently.  I'd also change out the rug to one I like a little bit more.

I like the cabinet and the vases.  I do not love the art though.

I like using agate slices for artwork. but think the frames don't show off the colors and are way too big--also get rid of the blue and white stuff on the table--dust catchers.

Very pretty but I'm too practical to make it mine.

I like everything but the color of the picture frames. They should be a darker color to me. The washed out coloring just doesn't go with the rest of the blue and white theme.
