I think the skull art would definitely work in another room. This one is so bad...

Hmmm, not for me, I would have put a large frameless painting of a beach scene, maybe with a couple of sailboats instead of that ugly (IMO) colorful piece of art.

Probably the home of the artist, otherwise, I don't see any reason that it would be in that style of home. To me, it looks completely out of place. Maybe put it on the outside deck with a lot of colorful cushions on some patio furniture.

The room itself is nice but I bet the artwork was created by the home's owner. Who would buy it for that spot - no one, I think.

Skull Art is big with surfers and boaters in this area. Many homes have Skull Flags on the Bay too.

Maybe keep the sofas and toss everything else out. Even taking the 'art' out of the mix, this room is just oppressive and ugly. At what beach is this located, the beach from hell?

There is nothing in this room,, furnishings, lighting and decor that I like. The skull art might interest someone but for me a big NO. I would not feel comfortable sitting in this room.
