@pugvette74  Newman is precious.  Love those curly tails.  I have a Tonkinese cat but love all animals.  Funny you should mention IKEA.  I own the Ethrop sofa with slipcovers.  It has the roll arms and looks very shabby chic.  It's a great sofa for the money.  When I bought it, it was $399.  It's a little higher now.  I live about a 1/2 mile from IKEA.

@Katcat1   We have 2 Tonks ,  a boy and a girl from the same litter.  They are 18 and the loves of our life !!   The breed as you know are very loving , social and sweet tempered.  Everyone that meets them can't get over how beautiful and loving they are! Although one is more of the Burmese in look and temper the male is more Siamese in look and very, very curious  lol !   The female is a champagne mink and the male is a platinum mink they are inseparable.   What is your fur baby?  We had  3 Siamese  growing up . These are our first Tonkinese .

@Kitty Galore  Hi.  I have a Blue Mink femaie and she will be 12 in April.  My cat before her was a Siamese and lived to 19-1/2 years and she was a sweetheart.  My Tonkinese is very independent but she loves to play.  She loves to lay on top of me in bed after our petting session.  Now she jumps on me when I am sitting in the living room and I hold her to my chest and pet her.  When you have pedigree cats, there is nothing like them.  Ava Ming is so smart (she loves to fetch too).  They are expensive though.  I am glad you stopped by to say hi and your cats sound beautiful and fun loving. Cat HappyHeart

@Kachina624  When I purchased my sofa from IKEA 6 or 7 years ago, they did have a floral pattern slip covered sofa.  It was beautiful but my taste is more contemporary.  If it would have been shabby chic or country, it would have been perfect.  I paid $399 for a full sized sofa but you had to assemble the arms.  It's sturdy and looks like a Pottery Barn sofa.  The price has gone up a little but still very reasonable.

@OKPrincess  Thank you.  I have more of a contemporary Pottery Barn look in my bedroom.  My bed is from Crate & Barrel called the Mason.  I have the dark brown iron bed.  With these sheets I will use my white pick stitch quilt and a very pale seafoam green throw pillow.  I always enjoyed decorating.  I still do but not as much (getting older).  Check out Target Simply Shabby Chic.  There are so many pretty sheets with tiny flowers and the price is quite reasonable.

@Katcat1

No, I've not heard of the brand but I think the sheets are very pretty.  I love the color.

Re: Simply Shabby Chic

[ Edited ]

I love the shabby chic sheets from Target.  I recently bought the set with the little pink flowers on, I believe the pattern is called 'sparkles.'   These sheets are percale and I like them better than any sheets I've bought in a long time.  I also bought Threshold organic sheets from Target recently but they aren't near as nice as the Shabby Chic brand.  I'm already planning on buying another set in the near future.

Oops, the pattern of the sheet set I have is Pink Sprinkles, NOT Sparkles.

@Tyak  I was in Target late afternoon today and went to the bedding dept.  There are white sheets by Shabby Chic with tiny blue and pink flowers that are so pretty.  My Target recently changed the area Shabby Chic was in and I do not like what they did now.  It's in with everything else.  I plan on going to Super Target where they should have a bigger selection.
