I have this, but not inside. I hang it on the pool privacy fence. It's made from old pallets, my step-daughter is an artist and free-handed the word "family" on it for me. She also painted another pallet wood with an ocean scene. I don't have any signs inside.

I do not like this type of decor any more than I like any other decor in my house. All qualifies as clutter to me.

She sounds talented, did a nice job on the cursive here.

Those signs aren't for me either. But I've wondered where the people are that are buying them. Does it really help to see the same words on the wall all the time.

No, I do not have any signs in my home. Joanne is a fan of signs and words from Fixer Upper. Speaking of Joanne, boy, their prices are pretty high on their Hearth & Home at Target. They need to come down to earth.

I do like her Magnolia and Hand & Hearth stuff and you're absolutely correct, outrageous pricing. She has some things at Bed Bath and Beyond and Pier 1 too. I've been able to find very close (dupes) of her things at the TJM, Marshall's, etc; for pennies compared to her prices. Especially the greenery. Loving that in my home.
I agree, she is into the signage, I am not. I think I might use her paint for my living room and spare bedroom. The paint guy at Ace Hardware said it is pricey but superior quality. I like her color scheme.

I have one small sign which reads "A house is not a home without a collie". It rests on a shelf in my family room.

I do think the sign trend has now been overdone. That said....
I have had a small, black, distressed sign in my kitchen. A crown, then “Keep Calm and Carry On.” I admire the Brits, and that sign says it all to me.
We have a bedroom in our home strictly for our two grandchildren. There are a few signs:
”Oh, The Places You’ll Go” Dr. Seuss
”The more that you read
the more things you will know.
The more that you learn,
the more places you’ll go.” Dr, Seuss
And over the bed:
Always remember
You are braver
than you believe
Stronger
than you seem
Smarter
than you think
and Loved
More
than you know”. Winnie
A canvas print showing 9 world capitals, globe, simple white painted furniture, red, white, and blue theme. Postcards of favorite U.S. places framed or on a bulletin board. Topped off with a Felix the Cat clock (yes, tail that swings, eyes that roll).
Stuffed animals, toys.
I can picture many eyes rolling over my post. The kids love their room, and I hope memories of it will always make them smile.
