We have a carriage house in the back. (full living quarters above the garage) Our bathroom up there has a knee wall so we had to put the bathroom mirror on the side of the sink. It's fine, no problem.

I definitely want my mirror centered over my sink. I don't really like anything in this room so it's a no for me.

Well, I think all I could look at is that reflection in the mirror and feel a little disoriented.  Then again it might look better than my face does in the morning.  A distraction (until I get my makeup on) could be a good thing!!!!

You are right.  It certainly could.
