Re: Shower curtains, yea or nay?

I bought 2 fabric waterproof shower curtains from HSN last year on clearance and I love them. No more plastic liner for me. They really work but you do have to hang them. I got a black one and a flower pattern in black, gray and white. My accent color is green and my walls are medium gray.

Re: Shower curtains, yea or nay?

I am all for the hook-less shower curtains. LOVE them..they wash up so nice.

I replaced my swing-type shower door with a tension rod and shower curtain after the door fell off one day when I was getting out of the shower. I stood there naked trying to hold up that extremely heavy door...OH MY! It was a good thing my husband was available to help me..I don't know what I would've done if he wouldn't have been home..One of those embarrassing moments in life..

No more shower doors for me!

Also I sewed a few small buttons across the hem of my shower curtain for a little additional weight..hangs real nice.

Get a pretty one that you like, of any type, and buy one of those waterproof shower curtain liner from Bed Bath and Beyond.

The waterproof liner then hangs down inside the tub and the pretty one shows on the outside.

This is the look I like best, and I think is most functional.

I don't like shower doors at all because of the upkeep.

I don't care for the hookless shower curtains as once they are wet, you have to leave them inside the tub or shower unit, and that is a sloppy look to me. I guess you could dry them or wait till they are dry and hang them outside the tub, but the shower rotation in this house is such that it would probably never get dry enough to let hang outside the tub.
