I have re-decorated and remodeled this house "mentally" through this pandemic watching many home remodeling shows...now I just need to hit lottery😉🙂

I have bathroom remodel scheduled for next week.  Contractor called me this AM they are 1-2 weeks behind schedule.  Doesn't matter I wasn't in any hurry I'm not going anywhere ☹️

And I just took pics to list a lot of temptations, seasonal decor, excess kitchen items on NextDoor.

I have a semi-new CA King in my guestroom.  Much too big for the room.  It came with the house -- I listed it on FREE marketplace, hope someone takes it🤞🏻.  It's a good matress & wrought iron headboard.  I ordered a queen set but now thinking should have done twin beds.

We just splurged on new living room furniture! Our old furniture was still in pretty decent shape, but we had it for a long time and wanted new furniture, so we bought Chocolate Leather furniture and now we need to go ahead and buy the end tables that we saw displayed with it, they looked really nice because they were light-whitewashed and it offset the dark furniture nicely! We also just bought about a month ago a new television.....So that's it for us for a while!

A new desk for working from home. I have a desk chair I can restain/repurpose.

Since this looks like a long haul situation, reworking the guest bedroom and pantry storage in the kitchen.

At the start, very beginning of the pandemic (I already had it scheduled and products purchased and in-home) I replaced our main BR toilet with a taller one and replaced the flooring, with the help of my step-son. I then tackled our guestroom downstairs, that included tearing out some built-in cabinets that were in the closet and turning it back into an actual closet, purchased new closet doors, removed the baseboard, repainted and re-installed, painted walls and ceiling. Bought a new headboard and installed. This job took me weeks to do as I did almost all the work myself. It surprises me how long it takes me to get big jobs done these days, lol.
I want to buy a new loveseat, but that may wait a couple more months, I'm in no real hurry on that.
We need a new roof and have called some roofing companies, but oddly enough, I guess they must be slammed with work since we get no call backs.I just got a lead on possible contact for having it done, so there is hope yet. I do have a long list of other things, but if I can get these last couple things done yet, this year, I'll be happy, for now. Next year, well, the list is long, lol.

I live in a cottage on a lake. It's a real looking cottage. I've always loved corbels. So I finally ordered some corbels to add to the outside of my home. They will soften the hard lines of my house and make it look soooo much more like a cozy cottage. Heart

I'd love a completely new bedroom furniture including box spring/mattress, bedding, etc.  I may get the mattress set and bedding but will probably wait awhile longer on the furniture
