Re: Shelves, Shelves, and more Shelves!

If they work for the family that lives there, that's all that matters.  Not my style at all.  But alas, they didn't ask for my opinion LOL

Big no for me......all I see is clutter, clutter, clutter!

When I look at those shelves, all I see is dust. Rather, all I see is myself, dusting.

I like shelves, but I think these are over done.

Nope.  I would kill myself going on the ladder and I abhor dusting.  Can you imagine balancing on ladder and trying to throughly move and dust all that stuff. Yikes.

I would be in a crumpled heap on the floor.

Maybe a few are OK, but usually I'm not a fan of open shelving as I don't want the extra dusting.

No way for me on these two.

Re: Shelves, Shelves, and more Shelves!

This is a setup for people that truly own a lot of books.  Filling it with decorating items just doesn't work for me.  Now if you had a collection of something, and could legitimately fill the shelves, I would reconsider.  But really, why would you want to use a ladder.
