I prefer and look for cotton/poly sheets.  They are smooth, cool and don't wrinkle.  I've had high thread count 100% cotton sheets come out of the dryer looking like an unmade bed.  I've donated them.

I think you answered your own question....since you "always" buy 100% cotton sheets, I doubt you'll be happy with only 57% cotton! Take them back and get what you prefer!

I would have to return them because the poly would make me sweat during the night.

i ONLY buy microfiber sheets (my favorites) or a cotton/poly blend. i do not like all cotton sheets because there are so many wrinkles and i refuse to iron. i think microfiber or blends wash and wear so much nicer.

i am pretty much hot all the time. i dont find microfibers or blends to be "hotter" than cotton. in fact, the microfiber sheets feel quite cool.....which i love.

Whenever I need to buy sheets, I look for thread count over the feel because the feel can disappear after a few washes.

To make sure I am going to love the sheets: I wash one of the new pillowcases on gentle and dry.  If it comes out a mess of wrinkles, I iron it and return the set to the store.

Sheet are too expensive to have them sit on the shelf and not get used.

I have some sets that are 100% cotton sateen and some poly/ cotton mix: like them equally.  It depends on manufacturing process and quality of the materials.

I grew up on 100% cotton percale sheets.

I would never buy anything else.

I hang them out to dry.

Organically grown cotton is even better.  

Better sleep may also come from knowing you've chosen a product that has less impact on the environment.
