Re: Seriously! Poo-pourri Set of 2 in a GIFT BOX!!!

I doubt I would gift it to anyone unless I knew them well enough to know they had Crohn's disease, for example, and would probably welcome it. I have used tiny bottles of similar products (the idea isn't new) kept in my purse for public restrooms or a reaction to a meal, let's say. As for it being on air a lot, esp as it gets closer to Xmas selling time, QVC doesn't devote repeated airtime to items that don't sell well. If something doesn't sell it disappears or goes on clearance. Since this is not happening with the Poo-Pourri, they are clearly selling lots of it to people who probably keep reordering.

I'd love this as a gift! This product is da bomb! It works exactly as advertised and as a person with GI issues who travels and stays with friends and family, has saved me much embarrassment both at work and leisure.

Agree-bought it for a gift to myself-also for my office bathroomSmiley Happy

I just can't get past the name. I get it's a play on words but still...yuck.

I see nothing wrong with it as a hostess gift. It can then be put on the lid of the toilet seat so anyone needing to use the toilet can take advantage of it as they will have to pick it up and will read what it's for and thus use it. I saw this done at a friend's house with a note to put the lid down and the bottle back and thought it was a really good idea and it also would make going for someone who really has to go less stressful knowing that the smell won't linger and the other guests won't be subjected to the smell. The hostess will probably be greatful for it and it is in no way saying anything about the food being served.

Again, different strokes... I can see suggesting it if the subject arises, I can't see presenting it to someone as a gift, hostess or otherwise. Some recipients might see the supposed humor, some might appreciate the thought or the actual item itself, but for some it would simply make for an awkward moment, 'useful' or not... Anyone feeling that strongly that this is a product someone just must have can discreetly leave a bottle in the bathroom, but this is not something I would personally present to someone as a gift...

yeah but I pretty much guarantee you have seen some sort of "air freshener" in a bathroom at everyone's house, if not there definitely should be. We're all human, we all use the bathroom and it all smells. If someone gets offended then they're way too uptight and should let loose with some laughter. Most if not all would definitely appreciate a product that eliminates bathroom offenses. I have yet to come across a human being that loves the smell of bathroom odors. True awkward moments, extremely embarrassing , are smelly toliets. Makes an excellent gift. Pleasant smells rule. I know people who are prudish in nature that love this stuff lol and you know why...no stinky smell Smiley Happy.

I have visions of someone having a nice holiday party for their neighbors and one of the neighbors shows up with this to proudly present as a hostess gift. that would be the last time that neighbor would be on my party list. What a tacky, classless gift to give. The person who,is giving this is telling you your bathroom, stinks

And it usually does after certain actions in the bathroom. This friend is probably one of the best friends you'll ever have. Saving you from embarrassing odor in your home. While others may talk... behind your back about their visit to your bathroom or how your house stinks. Apparently there is a need for this stuff and people are loving it.

Say what you will and make all possible jokes about it, but whether given as a gift or bought for private use .....the product works!! That is the bottom line...
