Honeysuckle grew beside our porch on a trellis when I was younger.  Love that smell, but now I never smell it.

When ever I smell roses it always reminds me of my Grandma because she wore To a Wild Rose from Avon every day. My Mom didn't wear perfume but the scent of Noxzema always reminds me of her.

Jergens Hand Lotion always and forever my Mam-Ma, the best Grandmother ever.  The below is the 1967 bottle I remember the most.  She had bottles in every room.

Great topic, @TenderMercies I love stories like this.

Last month I bought some scented sugar scrubs from Laliicious. One of them was Lemon Blossom and when I started rubbing it into my hands, I was suddenly taken to the backyard lemon tree of the house I lived in when I was between 4 and 9 years old. I had completely forgotten about it. but the scrub smelled just like. I couold see the tree, the wood  border around it, and the rest of the yard like it had been yesterday. It was so unexpected that I actually froze and just stood at the sink thinking about that tree for a moment. It was as powerful and vivid as those flashback "memory" scecnes from a movie or TV show.

I had expected the scrub to smell more like a lemon than an actual lemon blossom, so it was all the more surprising. I bought a multi-pack of small 2-oz jars of the scrub, but now I plan to get a full-sized tub of the stuff. Smiley Happy

This is more a question than a memory, since hardly anyone wears this now.  Does anyone remember a family member wearing 4711 cologne?  My mom used to love it, and it is quite refreshing.  Not often seen, or smelled, today.

Another Jergans Lotion here.  I was only 4 when my mom died but this scent makes me think of her and my grandma (her mom) who also used it.  I am 60+ so this means that this lotion has been around a long time if my mom and grandma used it.  My mom, were she alive today would have been 100.
