Re: Sarah Off the Grid- Guest Bedroom

How I wish her show was on in the US.  She had a show several years ago that we absolutely loved.  Some of the homes she redid were fantastic,  one in particular she did in white, greys and black and in each room she used one bold focal color.  Absolutely gorgeous!  We still talk about that design.

Actually like it, except for the two bedside tables and the one chair -just not too much of a fan of any decor item with that bamboo kind of look. Other than those pieces, I think it is an inviting looking room and nothing over done.

Lose the bamboo and lose their square boxed things.....I like everything else..........

Wish theyd bring her show back to HGTV in the US.............

Re: Sarah Off the Grid- Guest Bedroom

@Susan Louise It's a house. The entire home can be seen on the Canadian HGTV website. I undersand your thinking on the windows. I believe this room is semi-below ground level and hence the high and short windows. Most of the rooms feature better views...

Re: Sarah Off the Grid- Guest Bedroom

I wonder how many homes Sarah actually has. While most of the projects featured on HGTV were 'flips', her vacation house was once featured as was a primarily rental property, I believe. In her books, several of her homes have been featured and this 'off the grid home' is apparently hers as well.

@lolakimono,

What a bright, cheerful, eclectic bedroom!

Although not my style, I can certainly appreciate it. I agree with the poster in that I would lose the star & also the wrought iron-look lanterns. Wicker or wrought iron, but not both IMO.
