I bought some a few months ago, has any one noticed they do not work as well as they get a little older?

I've found that to be true but mine have lasted more than a few months.

I wash mine in cold water with mild soap and dry on low. They last a long time but haven't bought any lately so maybe quality has changed.

I have to wonder what you are using them for, and how you are washing them.
I never was impressed with them in the long term for windows. They are ok at first then streak later. I find the Bio Cloths to be much better for windows.
If you use the Supercloths for anything really dirty or anything with an oil to it (like I use mine for damp dusting furniture, and have to keep the same ones for that, as the oils from my in between Pledge cleaning, which I only do about once a month or less now, will collect on the Supercloth and cause it to streak other things) you have to be sure you keep them for that job. I would think that using them for cleaning the kitchen might cause the same thing as you might be wiping up light grease build up and it can cling to the cloth.
Perhaps it is what you are cleaning with them or if you are using any cleaning agent. They are supposed to be used with only water.
I machine wash mine with just a little detergent (very, very little), no softeners and hang them to dry. Is it before you wash them or after that you are noticing the change? Could be too much detergent in/on them after washing?
Hope something here helps.

I'd suggest putting them in the washer, alone, nothing else, and give them a good washing. I use hot water, although I don't know what the actual directions call for, and only a tiny amount of soap.
Let them line dry and see if that improves them. They could just have a lot of built up dirt on the surface that isn't coming off with simple rinsing.

I just throw them in the washing machine with my other cleaning rags - hot water, Tide & bleach to kill germs and then hang them to dry - mine have lasted for years. I usually use mine on glass - and I use them with water as hot as I can stand to put my hands into and vinegar. The secret is to really wring them out well.
