You might try the signature detergent from The Launderess. I can't get enough of it, and it lasts and lasts.

I absolutely love their signature scent, it's heavenly. I am pleasantly surprised with how concentrated their products are!

Re: SUGGESTIONG FOR NICE SMELLING LAUNDRY DETERGENT

OP here.  I did begin adding vinegar to the rinse cycle and the musty smell is gone!  Perhaps my washer needed to be washed or refreshed.  My laundry is smelling clean again.  I will continue with the vinegar.  It is cheap and doesn't leave a vinegar smell.

Thanks for all the suggestions.  I can see why there are so many choices at the store for detergent. It seems we all like different scents or no scent at all!

Re: SUGGESTIONG FOR NICE SMELLING LAUNDRY DETERGENT

I use Laundress Products. I do have some ALdi detergent in the blue jug as it's a fresh clean scent and use that on occasion. Otherwise, I have specific scents for sheets, towels, clothes as well as the individual. Wish they would make dryer oils that matched their scents. I'd use that on my wool drier balls.

I like the Shaklee line of products and the Beekman line of laundry products. I have severe allergies and migraines so I am scent sensitive. I want the clothes to smell clean but with a "fresh air " scent. These work for me.

@Fressa

I like the Shaklee line, too. I buy the largest box they have and it lasts a long time since you use so little. I also add 2 teaspoons (in a measured little scoop) of the Basic G, which is a nice germicide.

I also have Nellie’s on hand. Still trying to make up my mind on that. I’ve had some dark loads that came out of the dryer with white areas on some of the clothes. It must not have rinsed out well so have to be aware to not put too many clothes in washer.

Re: SUGGESTIONS FOR NICE SMELLING LAUNDRY DETERGENT

Tide has a natural liquid detergent that has lavender iand something else n it.  I like it.  I believe it tells you the scent on the bottle.  It costs more than regular Tide.
