Oh, boy, @on the bay ,  I know just what you mean,  stores like that are so much fun to browze.  Just cruising them, looking at old things, puts me 'in the zone', like a good library or bookstore does, ha.

@Oznell ,

I watched the video last night, The Stone Cottage Adventures in January and a few more of hers and her house reminds me of the consignment shop I was talking about. I mean in a good way.I also loved her voice.

There were actually 3 wonderful consignment shops where I used to live. They were really more like stores made from the love of collecting and selling and places people could sell to others who would appreciate their discarded things once more to become treasures. They all always made me and everyone feel so welcome too. And things were sold for very good prices for the one selling and the ones buying.Wonderful places to visit which is rare these days.

Yes like a wonderful library or bookstoreSmiley Happy

I really like the exterior, but there's a lot of accessories inside. I would prefer less stuff sitting around and hanging on the walls. She has some interesting items in her collection. I am impressed by the transformation of those old upholstered furniture pieces.

The cottage is beautiful and I love everything about the vignettes and how they are displayed. I love touches like this throughout a home, it gives warmth and appeal to the rooms and tells a story.  I have vignettes scattered about on tables and shelves and they make me happy.

I love the little groupings...and I like the takes things from other places in the home, puts them together, and they work since she finds a common link, like the blue and white with the orange. I don't find any of it cluttered-looking, but it's how you space everything that probably makes the difference.

So interesting, but so many things! I love those before/after photos of the two sofas and the amazing transformations. Thanks for your usual wonderful posts, @Oznell !
