Re: STACKED VENTLESS WASHER DRYERS

This is an update to my original posting inquiring about stacked ventless washer/dryer units.

It's taken awhile, but I went with the one unit GE Profile Ultrafast Ventless Combo washer/dryer.  Thank you @brandiwine for posting about this unit.  I had to run new water supply and drain  lines, a new electrical outlet and enlarge the closet where I wanted it located.  So, this was not an inexpensive undertaking.  It was fortuitous that the unit went on sale in November so I saved a significant amount of $ (this is an expensive unit).  The control panel looks like the cockpit of a 747 and it is actually connected by WiFi to my cellphone.  The app monitors all kinds of things.  I opted not to get the 7 inch riser (pedestal) since I had read a few negative reviews about vibration on the riser and I had had a bad experience with the pedestal on my previous washer (terrible vibration, moving, etc.).

I've done four laundry loads so far.  I was wondering how the drying would go and it's been good except for the quilt which took a longer drying time.  The unit is probably a little noisier than I expected, but, overall, not terrible.

The convenience of having the unit on my main living level rather than having to go down to the basement is wonderful.  Thank you to all who responded.
