Oh, yes.  I thought the same thing, @Oznell.

If the folks  in your original post had done that, they could easily have made a shorter walkway, and had it enclosed.

Maybe they hired the wrong architect!  ;-)

I hate to disagree, but I think it's a beautiful addition and they did very well with what they had.  The only thing I might change is the blue exterior.  My home isn't modern design but I do like modern - it's clean and uncomplicated.

The view is fabulous. I’ve always wanted to live in a tree house, so that part is perfect for me.  However, the room and the rest of the house have no personality. It looks completely impersonal and colorless.

 

And I don’t like the replacement fireplace or those wooden slats on that large window.
