H207581 10-pc sequined berry clips (as-is) in gold:  Love these!  In perfect shape.  Lots of bling for their size and a true gold on the berries.  Very flexible and adjustable, which I appreciate in an item like this.

H206209  Illuminated glittered bay leaf garland in champagne:

Upon first opening the box I fell in love with this.  The colors and textures are gorgeous, with eucalyptus and bay leaves being the same perfect champagne color, and berries looking a bit more gold.  I would highly recommend this based on looks alone.

However, this item has some serious issues.  I opened it outside and very gently began shaking it to remove excess glitter.  Yes, it sheds small and large glitter, but not nearly as much as the LR bay leaf picks from last year.

The bay leaves started falling off of the garland.  They broke off!  It wasn't that they came unattached at the joints, which I'd know how to fix with a little hot glue.  The stems literally broke in half and dropped clusters of either 3 or 5 leaves at a time.  I counted 6 broken segments.

Another issue is missing paint & glitter on the bay leaves.  It is bound to happen with such items, but it is very noticeable.  I was inspecting one such area, again very gently, and more paint and glitter flaked off just because I gently bent the leaf a little.  I have no luck with bay leaf items.

The lights are very warm white and look like they are operating on about half battery power.

The eucalyptus and berry components seem very well made and the overall design is beautiful in my opinion.  What a shame that I had to send it back.  I refuse to pay over $40 total for something that probably won't last over one season.  If it goes to a low clearance price or as-is, I might reconsider.

HTH!

@SHOPR  Thanks so much for the detailed review.  I haven't ordered it yet and won't now.  I've seen items like that and sent them back too.  That is a big chunk of change for a garland in that condition.  I may go out and look for a garland so I can see how sparce  or brittle they are.  I really don't need one, really.  The review really helped me avoid another return.

I wonder if it was just a dud, as the reviews are good.

@mousiegirl  I would try to get the excess glitter off too and maybe not everyone does.  It sounds to me like brittle plastic breaking off like that.  Also, not many reviews yet.  I won't take a chance on it, I get tired of returning.  It looks beautiful though.  Did you order it too?  If so, let us know about yours, please.

I hope everyone else who ordered the garland has better luck. I think the bay picks used in my garland were either brittle, like lucy said, or they had some weak area in the stems, because they were clean breaks. Weird!

The reviews so far are for the wreaths, and the first review is actually for a wreath from last year, not this one.

Imagine what would've happened if I had tried Susan Louise's leaf blower trick! LOL

I was thinking that it could be returned, at no cost to you, and another sent, but I understand the issue.

No lucy, I didn't order it.  I am tired of returning things also, but usually the next item sent in the defective item's place, is good, although it took three tries to get a good flocked dove set.  I just received the Kringle Express porcelain Santa, and the switch doesn't work, so that goes back, and Valerie's kids blowing out the candles, one has paint dripping down the leg, so they are going back.  I will ask for another Santa to be sent, but maybe not the kids.  I am going to think about them overnight.

@mousiegirl  So sorry some of your items were defective.  I've had about as good luck with 'as is' as I do with regular priced merchandise.  I see those white flocked doves are in 'as is' now.  I also got them when they were presented and mine were fine.  Actually, not one of my favorite purchases but I think they'll look good mixed with greens  or other pieces. I think it's the finish on them, just feels weird to me. :-)  Good luck with your replacements.

@SHOPR  Well, no doubt the neighbors would have 'garland' debris all over their yards. LOL.

H206433  Set of six beaded fruit picks -- HeartLove them. They contain the same nice looking fruits and other components that are used in the matching wreath and garland.

The only issue I have is small crushed areas on two or three pine cones.  I had the same issue with my matching wreath last year.  I can work with them and they will look fine.

Re: SOME REVIEWS OF PRODUCTS I PURCHASED, MORE TO FOLLOW

I received 2 sets of H207013 - Two Fillable Metal Wire Trees in White, and I really love them.  They are sturdier than I expected, and arrived in perfect condition.  I know these may not be everyone as they are very modern and industrial looking, but they are very good quality.  If you've been on the fence about them, I highly recommend them.
