I'm always on the lookout for interesting watering cans, like this "SAIC White Watering Can".

This one at CB2 for $14.95 I love!  It's made of stoneware and is being called a "watering carafe".   Matte white glaze.   It's the result of a collaboration with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. 

The kind you'd love to leave out as a decorative statement on its own!  I'd even mix it with my tiny collection of modern white cased glass, or if I had any crisp white pottery.   Would love it esp. in contemporary or midcentury rooms, but those clean lines look good anywhere.  I did note that some, not all, customers mentioned dribbling problems, sigh.  I'd probably be impractical enough to overlook that, ha.

If a utilitarian object is also aesthetically pleasing to you, does it make you more prone to get and use it?   Or do you not care at all?

Love it and would buy in a heartbeat and leave it out year round. Who cares if it dribbles it is beautiful

That's really nice.  I especially like it displayed with the plant stands and plants.
