I don't mind the rugs but don't care for this room as there is too much white and all the elements of the room look too striped for me (makes me anxious looking at it).

The look is very cold and stark....more museum setting.

I like them in this space, they add color and a cheerfulness to this area.

The rugs are pretty but I wouldn't hang them on the wall.

Yes, to hanging a rug on the wall and look great in this style of house.  

 

That doesn't mean I like any of it, but I could see hanging a Persian rug on the wall of a traditional style house.

I like the room but not the decor. I prefer rugs on the floor.

I like the effect very much and don't mind rugs displayed on walls if it's done well.  While it may not be my personaal style doesn't mean I can't enjoy someone elses choices.
