Yesterday I saw the presentation of the Royal Palace Rugs. I have one of their rugs from 19 yrs ago - at the side of my bed. It's navy with colorful flowers throughtout. I realized that I was tired of looking at it (it's in perfect condition) - so I ordered the 2'x3' ivory rug with beautiful flowers on the corners.

Did anyone else order?

@kivah I have had two for years and wanted to but not the time for me to make a large purchase.  Hopefully next time they are presented because they are beautiful

After I ordered it - I thought, "do I need the rug?" Then I told myself that I deserve it.

Last week I received 10 small bottles of mango moscato and 6 bottles of rose wine from France - from Costco. I also deserved that.

I really love natural wool rugs and I definitely watched the presentations and considered ordering.

The colors were fantastic!

However, the rugs I have are not yet on their last legs, so I decided to wait.  My rugs all have fringe and are a little more difficult to vacuum, so I like that the newer rugs have removed the fringe.

Bought a gorgeous small wool rug with tulips at each end....but hated the fringe.  DH used duct tape to secure it.  It has lasted for many years of use, vacuuming, even steam cleaning !

I have 2 large rugs that I ordered several years ago.  Then about 3 years ago I needed a smaller rug for under my chairs at our eating area (on kitchen island)  The older rugs are in good shape, but the new one has not held up as well.  The material has developed ripples in the pattern that even vacumning does not take out.   Have looked at other rugs, but most of them are very thin and I want something that will stay in place.  So I'm still using the RP one, but it doesn't look as good as I want it to.

I hope the quality of the new RP rug is the same quality as the old one.

I had several of the older Royal Palace fringed rugs.  I removed the fringe, turned all over and hot glued the binding.

I love my Royal Palace Rug, no fringe, but I would like to see them do some new designs, and maybe a few solid color rugs as well.
