Our reading room was the perfect spot for a hanging chair! @lolakimono , have you ever sat in one of those swings?  Uncomfortable!!!  They look nice but I find the strip under your legs most uncomfortable, digging in.  Hard to get out of as well.

 

Love the room though and I would be going for the furniture you described.  LM
