Has anyone received their Dennis Basso TSV throw?  If so, what do you think?

When Dennis first started bringing his throws they looked almost real and full.

Bought the tsv with the bear a couple of years ago and many reviews were how the quality had diminished and it really did just look like a blanket, I kept because the bear was a gift.

This TSV was the worse offering to date. It was a nice size and okay blankets but the prints were only geometric and nothing looked like fur.  I know you asked if anyone had it in hand but watched as many presentations as the showed yesterday and it just looked off on TV it really has to be a strectch if it looks better in person

If you are on a check hold look at store sites and offerings in fur throws..

Re: Reviews on Dennis Basso TSV

I watched a presentation online as I was considering one for a holiday gift.  Posters said reviews on early orders had been removed.

That in itself was enough to cause me not to order.

I have one of his early faux fur throws. It is chinchilla and weighs a ton. I have washed it in my washer and it is still soft and beautiful. Glad I got it when I did.

Thanks for the reviews.  After watching the presentation video it appears much thinner.  I want to purchase another throw so I'm going to order last year's TSV.  It appears much thicker.

@EZ shopper I ordered one for my dh for Christmas, but it hasn't arrived. Last year I gave one of his throws to our neighbor for the holidays. It's probably ok if this years is a bit thinner, because they can get awfully warm.

Hope he's changed the blankets a bit.  I got one a few years ago, It's claret coloured and the furry side is sown into stripes and the reverse is a kind of velour type plain sheeting.   It is still soft and colourful...  BUT  the backside is not tacked down to the front so it dosen't maintain its shape when you pick it up.  It is also the Coldest throw I've ever owned.  I use it more for a pretty accent piece than a real cover up.

I like both weights of throws, and am glad to have a choice. I have one of his thick heavy throws and it's lovely but bulky. I like the lighter weight ones for napping. I heard him say in one presentation that people requested a thinner construction, and he complied.
