Remember Christopher Lowell?

Back when I watched BHGchanneli was a fan of his. I'm not not even sure of the channel. I kind of lost interest when so much was flip this or flip that. Anyway, I even have a book explaining his layers of design. Now he seems completely gone.

YesI remember him.  Enjoyed his show.  His designs and ideas were for the average person.

I too remember him and his show.  Liked to see his work.

I remember him too and used to watch his show.  I remember him saying that, "There is a neural tone in every color," or something to that effect.  I think that is true.  A lot of his ideas weren't for me though.  I remember on one show he stapled fabric to a wall as a back drop for a head board.  All I remember thinking was how was I going to clean that?

Loved his show! It was called Interior Motives. I had all the episodes recorded on VHS, but threw them out when decluttering.

I remember his tip about using duct tape to adhere cloth when covering a cushion (may actually use that on some outdoor cushions this summer).

Yes, it was Interior Motives. Thank you. What was the station? It was homes and gardens format.

I remember him.  He used empty paint cans covered in fabric to create height on a table. He also encouraged us to have a prop closet just in case we needed to display something whenever the mood stuck. I did fall victim to the fabric as headboard. But in my defense, I made my daughter a Princess bed and it took yards of fabric.

I eventually got rid of it because of the dusting factor.  I remember he also said you only need about 12" to get around furniture. My poor husband was always knocking himself in the shin because I was always moving things around after watching his show.

Loved those early days of HGTV and TLC.

Yes, I remember him. I really enjoyed his shows and miss the days of the decorating shows of all types, expensive, to penny pinching.  The two brothers are on all the time...while I like ususally like their style, I am tired of seeing them.
