@lolakimono   Very elegant.  Love that ceiling color.  You always post such interesting rooms.  I even enjoy looking at those homes that are not up my alley.  You can get great ideas even from some element or combination of elements that do appeal in almost any setting.

The story in my head is...this is a country cottage in France

w/ goats in the open yard, backing up to a fragrant lavender field.

 

Other than that?  
I got nothin....needs a makeover.

Total gut job.  The ceiling is OK but I wouldn't want it.

If there was a "before & after" with a decorated room.   This sad thing would be the "before".

@lolakimono I don't like it at all. And the word "redrum" reminds me of The Shining! "Redrum" meant "murder" in the book! One of the scariest books I ever read!

This looks like a boutique hotel room. I love the chandelier. It is dark and foreboding.
