Re: Recipe for Warshing Clothes

@CrazyKittyLvr2 @coffee drinker

I spent a lot of years hanging up laundry too; outside, and in my basement.  I enjoyed seeing our clothes waving in a nice breeze, and particularly liked seeing our colorful quilts drying on the lines.

My husband took our outside lines down 12-15 years ago, as the trees on the mountain behind us had matured to the point the backyard gets no sun at all, and our clothing was either covered in pollen, pine needles, leaves, or bird droppings.

Since I retired, I have had numerous pre-cancerous skin growths removed from my hands and my back.  As a fair skinned redhead, I avoid the sun, so my dermatologist was very curious why I had all these places on my skin.

The most direct sun exposure I had in my 20's, 30's, and 40's, was at the clothesline!

@CrazyKittyLvr2  We might be twins loving to hang clothes outside, but our husbands are not.  My husband dirtied the clothes, I washed them.
