Has anyone received the recent Joy Mangano Jewelry Box Duo? I am very concerned about the warning at the bottom of the card enclosed in my cases, stating that "This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause Cancer, or Birth Defects or Other Reproductive Harm". I was going to give one of these to a teenage girl, but don't feel that I can with this warning. BTW, the workmanship is very sloppy, too.

Sorry to say this, but after the fiasco I had with ordering 3 sets of her TS Huggable Hangers, had to return, reorder, then nothing matched, clips, etc. not available, etc. etc., I will never buy anything again that has her name on it. I'm not surprised by what you have posted. Judging from a lot of reviews on various items, I think as her "empire" has grown, she has definitely sacrificed quality, and I am no longer a customer for anything she brings to HSN.

I haven't gotten mine yet. Love her better beauty bags have many of them and Her hangers are awesome!!!! I have all my closets filled with them. That warning is a California law thing and doesn't bother me in the least.

California seems to force those warnings on an increasing number of products. If you're not going to eat it or wallow in it, I wouldn't worry.

In the last month I have ordered so many of her products, especially her hangers. I did return her pillow that was a TS several weeks ago, it was too hard.

Purchased three jewelry box TS and returned them all! That was a wise choice to not give it to a teenager. FYI - This same proposition warning can also be found in some dishwasher, etc. manuals. There is a website for the warning. Seems like some companies use the warning just to cover themselves or potential chemicals that we could breathe. For Joy's boxes it may be the lining since it felt like rubber. Colleen's prestige boxes have a nice velvet like lining and do not contain a warning. Hopefully will be trying one of Lori Greiner's products to see what they are like too.

I saw the warning and am aware that California requires the warning because of their strict standards. I'm not aware any other State does that.

I am using mine. One is for my Joy Mangano readers. I had been trying to find a good way to organize them. This works great. I use the other one for my watches. Some of my watches have multiple bands and it is the best way I have found to keep them organized.

I guess I'm thowing caution to the wind as far as the warning goes.
