Re: Really an unusual question here

thanks guys for your input.

i use pods because for me they are easier and measured correctly with the agents to get your clothes clean.

will have to check out that tide free and clear.

my washer is good washer of clothes  but rinse cycle is not the best in my opinion. have heard the maufacturer made the rinse cycle much better in the newer machines, but i don't have $$$$$$ just laying around to purchase a new machine, that is why i am trying to find a good clothes cleaner laundry soap but not something that will suds all over the place and not rinse out

thanks for input

I use basic purex and have always used less than recommended,  clothes just as clean,

you can add some vinegar to the rinse cycle if you need to get out residual soap,  I would try this instead of spending all that extra money on soap pods.

Second the recommendation for a vinegar rinse. Softens, removes soap, and there is no lingering vinegar odor. I have one of those downy fabric softener balls that I fill with plain vinegar and toss in when I start a load.
