Re: RESCUED TENNESSEE FARMHOUSE

The outside is incredible.

While I would have chosen different decor and furnishings, I appreciate the time, care and attention this deserving home received.

Thank you @Oznell

What an amazing transformation! It's beautiful, yet cozy and so welcoming. I can't imagine how long it must have taken to complete such a project!

@Oznell

Amazing transformation!

I agree with @DSD2

that while I love the outside I'd want to furnish and finish the inside a little differently ....other than maybe that kitchen, which I really like, especially love (you said it) the big lantern pendants over the island....I'm a sucker for bold lantern pendants used this way.

I also like the curtains used and really really like the fireplace with that beautiful rustic wood surround...

Thanks!!!

There's a lot to like here.  Still a little "cluttered" for me, but there are some lovely details.

I admire anyone who can stand in the middle of this:

Truly a homestead. I like the bedrooms better than the other rooms, but with just a few tweaks, I could love them too. The kitchen is appealing, though the individual elements aren't what I'd choose. The house itself is a virtual miracle.

Amazing transformation, I wonder what the spirits of the previous inhabitants think of the changes and updates.....

Re: RESCUED TENNESSEE FARMHOUSE

I'm enjoying looking at that kitchen.

I love that the stove hood has space for nice old painting,

I'm not crazy about those two large pendants in that size, but they work.  It realy nice that the modernized that kitchen, but gave it a mellowness with the lovely satin wood island and the dark countertops.

I can see from the owner's fine taste in antiques that they would not put the typical shiny white contertop in there.
