I prefer the more formal traditional Ralph Lauren style even though I no longer decorate my home like that.

I like some parts of both.  Wat too much stuff in both for me though.  I also don't like chairs that turn away from the fireplace.  I put swivel chairs close to the fireplace so you can turn into the conversation or enjoy the fire.

Thanks for posting @Oznell .  You find some interesting vignettes!  LM

I would love to visit the Ralph Lauren home but not live in it. I like Cindy's furniture  but not the decorations.

This decorating is not my style.

There really is no comparison. I vastly prefer Lauren's aesthetic. While I appreciate a few, very few, of the elements of the second home and adore the feline, the juxtaposition of that place with Ralph's more luxurious version of cozy only highlights for me that there really is no contest. It's Lauren all the way. I can enjoy a more rustic look but aside from everything else, and that's saying a lot, I have no appreciation for the southwest look, which is a bit too prominent in the second home for me to even consider it a serious contender.

I like things about both.  I could not have my whole home with just one or the other.  Now, I could mix them up.

RL is very comfy and cozy looking, while the other one is just to austere with no warmth.

Not really a fan of either one. Ralph's home is full of some beautiful pieces but everything gets lost in the chaos and clutter feel of every room. While I'm not a fan of Cindy's decor, I love the overall (more) open feel of it. She has a few really nice furniture pieces too.
