I only have one small plaque in my family room which reads "A house is not a home without a collie".

I've been wanting to get a quote tattooed on my arm, but am having trouble deciding on what to get.  One that I'm happy with is ..... speak kindly, live simply, care deeply.  Another is from a Leonard Cohen song, but it's rather lengthy (more like a poem), so I think it would be too long.

Why thank you @GingerPeach.  I wish I didn’t need to have the gate, but we have an indoor kitty and it’s the only way we can make sure she stays inside.  We live on two acres with lots of critters.  We’ve already lost a couple of cats to them and couldn’t bear to lose this one, so the gate stays!

Oh my gosh @Carmie, I LOVE this.  I have a relative that complains about my dog every time he comes over.  His behavior is so annoying to me.  After all, it's my dogs house, not his.  Yeah, if you don't like dog hair, stay home!
