Question on sheets.

Can anyone help w/ this question? There are so many types of sheets available : egyptian, supima, percale, etc etc . I love smooth, nice quality sheets on my bed. I have some sets of a high thread count that feel somwhat satiny, silkyish and are on the thin side. I dont like those types. I prefer a thicker, crisper feel to my sheets. I love sheets that stay cool to the touch. What type of sheets should I be looking for ? thanks !
