I bought this Bershire blanket

in Twin...because I just love the Faire Isle print.

The reviews complain that it isn't bonded and bunches up because it is only sewn around the edges.I figured I could fix that with my sewing machine.

How would you do it? Tack it down in a few areas or just the middle?

probably pick a few places on the blanket and tack it down

middle and from there to edge ...

@Nataliesgramma I agree with @jackthebear 

You could easily just tack down the throw in a few areas. You could also do it with yarn, like a quilt. That would be cute.

@Nataliesgramma   You know, I sent for that blanket once and returned it.  It was a mess and I didn't have the energy to fix it. 

It was too big and bulky to try and tack it down and then I thought it would never be the same.  I think there were just too many places to tack it to make it look right.  Good luck if you tackle it

If you really must have this blanket

I woud just run a straight stich the length of the blanket 8" apart, that would do it.  Quick and easy.

Just trying to keep the layers together if I understand how it's made.
