I really like those pieces. Our kitchen table and chairs are from Pier One. I think you get what you pay for. Good not great quality

Re: Quality of pier one furniture

All of my bedroom furniture is from Pier I.  This includes a chest of drawers, armoire, dresser and mirror.  I have a pewter metal head and footboard and deliberately mismatched bedside tables.  The furniture seems to be sturdy and well-made but doesn't get any rough use.  You won't find dove-tailed drawer quality but it will last me forever.

I really like this. It’s between this and some I found at Macy’s. The Macy’s one is much cheaper.

My kitchen table is from Pier One. Nothing but good things to say about their products. We love browsing through the store. The furniture you chose is very nice.

I have a dresser, tv cabinet and two night stands.  No issue with any of the furniture.  Keep an eye out for a sale.

Re: Quality of pier one furniture

I'm sitting in a Pier 1 chair right now, and have four others around the house.  I like them very much.

I think if you shop carefully it's possible to find some neat stuff in there.  Your selections are very pretty.

I have a bathroom wall cabinet from Pier One.  The painted  finish is very nice. It is supposed to be sky blue, but it is a turquoise color. The quality is okay, but not great.  It serves its purpose and looks nice.

I am glad that I got it on sale.  It was way overpriced.

@ccassaday-

I actually saw this in Pier 1 today and it was very pretty-that's why I noticed it.

I opened the drawers and as others said, they were ok/good but not the very best quality.

 The one on the floor had a little bit of wood missing.

I got my living room couch from Pier 1 on sale and like it a lot. Its very comfortable.

As others said, I think you can find some good things but I would probably only get them on sale because yes I think they are somewhat overpriced also.

if you can check out homegoods, they have some great real wood pieces for good prices but you have to get them when you see them in the store.

Re: Quality of pier one furniture

I bought a glass top/wrought iron (?) base table and chairs in 2004 from Pier One and still have them, as well as a couple of big wicker chairs. I always loved browsing that store and have had great luck with the few pieces of furniture that I bought there. I really like the photos of the pieces that you posted!
