I know the sets have been being used for a couple of months anyway by now, but I don't watch a lot, and it has taken me awhile to see some of the 'new rooms' they built.

I have to say, much of the architecture is stunning. Great windows, great doors, great wood work, nice brick. I'm loving almost every area I have seen.......EXCEPT......the kitchen. It's horrible.

I know that kitchens have all gone super modern on 'the shows' and in media, but the kitchen set they came up with is boring, ugly, seems kinda small, and doesn't match the style of the rest of the 'house'.

I love to watch the kitchen shows, but honestly it isn't really as inviting as it should be, when you consider how great some of the other sets turned out. Really disappointed that the kitchen set isn't as fabulous as the rest of the new digs.

Re-do of QVC's studio set - I have been so impressed and delighted to see the new changes.  Love Love the brick work although I assume it's just wall covering - but it's added so much class.

As for your complaint about the kitchen:  it's not intended to be a working kitchen - just a  prop.  Even David made remarks when bending over to that squat oven.

The actually cooking is done in a huge kitchen in the back quarters.  Agree:  kitchen looks silly.

I loved some of those older sets too.

I barely remember one with a huge field stone fireplace. Or do I?

Was there a set like that at one time?
