QVC refuses to adjust shipping charges

Good evening everyone ! So I noticed shipping charges have dropped a couple of dollars. Well, I ordered 8 items from 1/27-1/28 all of which I've receicved except for 2 items (in all fairness those two were shipped 1/30). I called customer service hoping they would give me an adjustment and they down right refused !! They said they could only make the adjustment if the items weren't shipped !! I asked to speak with the manager and he didn't budge. He said the reduced shipping is a promotion they were running therefore he can't make the adjustment. It's a dang shame since their shipping charges are high to begin with and a billion dollar industry such as theirs refuses to make any adjustments !!

Yes, it is a shame but the person to whom you spoke was absolutely correct. Win some, lose some.

Well at least you tried! Being that you are such a good customer, if I were the person in charge on the phone, I would have made an exception for you and adjusted your shipping. QVC is a cheap tight wad.

Re: QVC refuses to adjust shipping charges

I had this happen with Talbots on Black Friday and they gave me the same story the first time I called, but I called again and they adjusted it for me.

Re: QVC refuses to adjust shipping charges

They lowered their shipping charges because they are probably losing customers and business. I would tell them I am going to return the items because they refuse to adjust the shipping charge.Would you rather lose revenue or credit my account? This may move them to help you. Ask to speak with a supervisor. The shipping and handling charges are why I do not shop with them. What would be the credit you are asking for?Why did you need to order early?

I did speak with a manager and it was as if I were peaking to a robot !!! I did tell him I would return the items and his response was ""I'm sorry you feel that way ma'am."" I'm just one customer to them compared to millions !!!

Re: QVC refuses to adjust shipping charges

Yes, I'd be irritated that I'd bought at the wrong time, but I agree with the company.

If you like the products sold by companies that offer free shipping, why do you buy anything from QVC? I wouldn't - but I like what I buy here.

Re: QVC refuses to adjust shipping charges

If they will credit the difference for any price reductions within a certain number of days, I don't understand why they won't credit the s&h difference in this situation.

Are they even advertising this promotion on air or anywhere on the website?
