QVC Deception

I got my morning glory hanging basket just minutes ago, and what a shock! We've been snookered. This thing is much smaller than last year's basket, so small it would look pathetic hanging in most places alone. It has few shriveled-looking blossoms which are also tiny, nothing like the pictures of it. Even the foilage is sparse. It's no wonder they kept showing the larger, more expensive version all day hoping, I'm sure, people would think that's what they were getting if they ordered the TSV. This looks like one of those Facebook scams where they show something gorgeous and you receive krap. It will be going right back to QVC. Certainly not worth close to $60.

@Kachina624 I have been tempted to purchase the fake hanging baskets from other places but I don't because I was always afraid they would be scrawny, despite advertised pictures. We have a place here where I live that has all kinds of country style furniture and decor. It's not my thing, but sometimes they carry the fake flower baskets. I checked last week and they had a stunning floor basket, it was huge and full with hydrangea, red geraniums, purple pansies, yellow forsythia and greenery and it looked so real. I wanted it so badly so I could quit babysitting flowers but I could not justify the 400$ price tag. It was a stunner!

@mspatmac No, it was the larger single TSV. I can't imagine this could be made much smaller. I was so looking forward to it.

Sorry you're disappointed @Kachina624. I almost ordered the TSV but really wanted the larger size, had to pass on it because of the price.

I got mine and was pleased with it. It had lots of flowers and greenery. However, they should have been more clearer when presenting the item. It was smaller than I expected too

It says its 14 by 32. But that's with the foliage extended fully wide and it's from the tip of the hanger to the bottom of the hanging foliage. I was reading the reviews yesterday and it has a lot of one stars for that reason.

It's looks nice on my patio, so I will keep it but will not order this brand again.

Small and sparse - sounds like a couple things I received from Valerie few years back. It was a joke..........

Q's other trick with food - HD camera up real close but the burger (example) doesn't weigh in as the same item you ordered.

Check out website for Nearly Natural - mostly green plants but they have a few flowering items and hanging baskets,, they are lush and full. Colors fab too. $80 range but can use year after year.

@CoffeeNut Plants are usually measured by the diameter of the pot, not by the length of the longest trailing foilage. This was deliberate deception.

I looked at them but recently the baskets just haven't measured up to the older Bethlehem lights ones. And the prices are too high. I still have beautiful white geraniums that I hang from my stairwell and they light up.
Recently I've purchased the baskets or save them and buy flowers on sale at Michael's half off or more. I have azaleas outside now. I didn't see the baskets today at Michael's. Glad I have ones from last year.
