Purchased New Appliance? Check for Your Power Company Rebates

Recent threads about refrigerators prompted me to add this about rebates.

We recently needed to buy a refrigerator and our local power company (Baltimore Gas & electric - BGE) offered a $150 rebate for purchase of an Energy Star appliance. We received it in less than a month after purchase.

Worth looking into. There could be rebates for a variety of appliances and various amounts of money, but every little bit helps! Hope your power company has this offer.
