I recently purchased a Dyson on a TSV. I have tried to register the warranty online for the machine and it tells me I am not entering a valid serial number. I am entering the number that is off the paper you would mail in if you choose to register it by mail. This number matches with what is on the machine as well. It has numbers and letters in it which makes me curious as to maybe that's why it is not identifying correctly.. ? Has anybody else had this problem before??

I am currently having this same issue. I am unable to register due to an invalid serial number, even though I am entering the number on the sticker. I am curious as to how you resolved this issue. Did you ever get you dyson registered? Thanks!

I had the same problem with the Dyson fan that I was trying to register. I clicked the option for Chat Live and the rep got it registered for me. Don't know what the problem is with the website but you need to get the rep to register until it is resolved.

I've not had that problem (yet), having registered several Dyson products, but I agree about contacting them.  Their customer service is exemplary.  They will take care of you.  Of that I'm certain.

I see the registration was an issue last year.  I am having a problem registering my TSV from 11/13 - Dyson V6 motorhead pro.  Tried registering on-line several times on the Dyson site, but got "invalid Serial Number."   Tried calling a couple of times.  Once their system was down, and today (12/3/16) they are still experiencing high call volume from Black Friday.  I waited 15 minutes before hanging up.  Decided to mail in the registration, only to realize I'd thrown away the return envelope, because I was GOING TO register on-line.  Went on their site again to find the address--there is none!  VERY frusterated! Anyone else have issue this year with registration?

Same thing for me trying to register my V8. I'm still in the queue for online help. But looks like I'll be mailing it in.

THIS IS REDICULOUS!  SO FRUSTRATED. CALLED DYSON TWICE WITH A 15 MIN HOLD! NEVER GOT THROUGH.

Many products are only made for QVC -- some are not covered by the warranty. That shouldn't happen.
